I’ve planted a carnation sow that I got from a nursery. The flowers have started coming out, but the stems are all falling to the ground. I just want to know how to hold them up and how to make sure they grow well. I’ve read on a site that “Those who grow carnations should know the importance of pinching, stopping and disbudding”, but I have no thought what any of those mean, so could somebody clarify all these things?

I reckon pinching is like pruning, also i reckon carnations need lots of sun and some shade in an area with less wind. to hold it up, you could find a net that holds it up at a nursery.
and y do people like sweetgerf not even resolution the question, waste their time and yours and then expect people to pick them as best resolution? its so frustrating
